Questions from Ya'll

Many of you who have visited the site, whether you be SCAD students or others with an interest, have been kind enough to correct me on several counts, and to send me some of your questions.  I don't have the answers to everything so I'll post them here incase someone else does!

7/7/05 Wondering in Savannah
Hello,  I just have a question:  What is the connection of O'House and Chatham Academy?

6/36/05 Garibaldi's Haunted Cuisine?

 Hi,

I'm a former ghost/hauntings investigator in the DC area and I've just returned from a trip to Savannah.  I know that there is said to be a ghost on every block in Savannah, but I didn't get a really strong impression at any particular place until I walked by Garibaldi's restaurant at 315 West Congress Street.  Because of my past experience with hauntings, I know the feeling when it hits me, and this place is Extremely haunted.  The weird thing is that it is not mentioned as a place of interest on any of the ghost tours, or in any of the literature I've read about hauntings in the area.

My interest in checking out the place was so strong that I decided to go there for dinner the next night.  Since I was with a group of friends at the time (who aren't into the "ghost" thing), I didn't mention my feelings to them and didn't ask the staff of the restaurant if my hunch about the place was correct.  I just took a walk around and tried to get a stronger impression of what was there.   The funny thing is that during dinner, my friends made comments about the restaurant that sort of validated what I had been feeling.  They loved the place, but felt that there was something weird about the atmosphere, sort of creepy, and that every now and then it would get very cold at our table.  On my walk around the restaurant, I found the area where I think the haunting is concentrated and got some pretty strong impressions of what is there.

All I've been able to find out is that it used to be a fire station a long time ago.  Other than that, I can't find anything.  Would you or someone you know have any information on the place (about the haunting, or about the history of the building)?  It's going to drive me nuts until I can find out about what's going on there.

Thanks for your time, "EJ"

Spooky Muzak?
i've heard from numerous people that the 3rd floor of the new student media building is haunted. i worked as a DJ there for a while, but no one would talk about whatever went on up there. it might be something to look into.

Media Mess, Dyson Disturbance
Hey, you might want to look into two things, supposedly room 204, media composer room, in hamilton hall is haunted, im a skeptical person but before I knew this I have to admit i'd hear noises at 3am in there and no one is around... another is posible reason for hauntings at dyson is that I heard a guy stoped his car on the bridge one night and shot and killed like 5 or 6 kids.

Turner's Bloody Battle
I was in Savannah this past weekend and one of the locals was
telling me that Turner House is haunted because it was built on
a battlefield where many US soldiers were killed. This lady told
me when SCAD was building the dorm they found "odd things" in the ground. Anyone who lives in Turner House here or know of friends who live in Turner House that have seen or heard of
anything?

Hmm?
                  Indeed.
Is this for real? What is going on?
